She Rocked It!

Claire had a swallow study last week, and she passed with flying colors!  A swallow study is a test designed to determine whether a person swallows certain foods properly.  If a person is unable to protect their airway when swallowing, they can aspirate food into their lungs and develop pneumonia.  And, let's face it: Nobody wants pneumonia.

While I knew Claire would do well with liquids and stage 2 and 3 solids, I was thrilled to learn that she also did well with puffs.  Puffs!! 

Someone's world just got a little bit bigger!
