This week in therapy, Claire was presented with some objects for tactile exploration. She knew just what to do.
Her therapist placed a board with astroturf in front of her, and a moment later, her little hands went up. With her left hand first, she grazed the edge of the astroturf with the tips of her fingers. It was so sweet and tentative . . . probably the cutest thing I have seen in a long time!
