It has been a while since my last post, and for good(ish) reason: We've been busy!
Work has been busy, leaving me little time for personal endeavors, like blogging. Claire has been busy, too. Among other things, she has a new activity: Standing.
Although she cannot yet stand independently, we were fortunate enough to recently obtain a piece of equipment that will help her with standing. It is called (quite logically) a "stander."
As you can see, Claire's stander is quite the contraption. It supports her legs, knees, chest and head while allowing her to bear weight on her legs.
Claire looooves bearing weight on her legs, by the way. For whatever reason, it is one of her favorite things to do.
She does quite well in her stander, too. While many children cry or protest, Claire just looks around calmly and inquisitively.
I swear, she would spend all day in her stander if we would let her. For the time being, though, she is only doing 15 minutes at a time.
