You would never know from her bright blue eyes that she was feeling icky.
So, just days after our lovely evening at the FOCUS dinner - dance, we spent Monday night in the ER with Claire.
She had been acting "off" for several days, and we couldn't quite put our finger on the cause. She had been crying, tensing her muscles, having increased seizures and running a low-grade temperature. We took her to her pediatrician who examined her and was also stumped, so she sent us to the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta ER for a more extensive work-up.
All of the tests came back "normal," so we were sent home later Monday evening. While we still aren't sure what is going on with Claire, at least we have peace of mind knowing it's nothing too serious.
On another note, in the day and a half since our ER visit, Claire has been feeling much better. Maybe all she wanted was a little bit of attention from a few doctors and nurses.
