Sometimes it's the little things.
Claire's nanny has a little girl of her own, and she brings her 10 month-old daughter along with her while she takes care of Claire. Claire just adores this little girl, and the two have a very sweet friendship.
Earlier this week, when Claire was sick, her nanny took the girls to the pediatrician's office. She put them in the side-by-side stroller, and then covered them with a blanket. Claire, who was in a lot of pain, was whimpering as her nanny tried to straighten the blanket. Just then, from beneath the blanket, the little girl reached over and took Claire's hand in hers.
Hearing about this sweet gesture just warmed my heart. I love knowing others care about Claire as much as I do, and it's really special to think of Claire having a little friend.
Yes, sometimes it's the little things that can make a person's day.
