Play Date

Claire had her first play date today with her new friend, E. E is the daughter of my friend and co-worker, Shay, who also happens to be one of my go-to people for all things parenting related.


E is a smiley and cute little girl who spent most of the play date chewing on my fingers. Claire spent most of the time snuggling with Shay and showing off her googly eyes.


Since E is a few months older than Claire, I asked her to show Claire some of her "big girl" moves. Here is a picture of E showing Claire how to grab the toy monkeys on her bouncy seat. Ever the good student, Claire is focusing intently on E's technique.
