Recently, we borrowed a "BigMack" switch from Lekotek. A "BigMack" allows you to record messages, which it plays back with the touch of a button.
This afternoon, Claire's nanny recorded "I want my paci, please," and worked with her on asking for her paci. Claire had such fun tonight at dinner showing off what she had learned. She kept spitting out her paci, pushing the button and waiting for us to jump up from our spot at the dinner table and respond.
Occasionally, she would press the button even when she had her paci in her mouth.
It's not clear yet whether Claire associates pushing a button with getting her paci, but she certainly looks cute in the process, doesn't she?
