Claire has been in a good mood over the past several days -- a welcome change after last week's scary seizure.
After church on Sunday, she was bright-eyed and cheery, talking away in her usual Claire Bear babble. She kept touching my cheek, rubbing her hand up and down the side of my face and making her silly sounds:
Wah-oh
Ggghah
Aiieeeee
Uhhh-huh
And even though I had a dishwasher to empty, three loads of laundry to fold, and grocery shopping to do, I took a moment to just enjoy her silliness. All told, I think we spent 30 or 40 minutes--maybe even an hour--just snuggling, talking, laughing and singing. But I didn't care. It was time well-spent.
