The Gibbs family had a very special Thanksgiving this year . . . we spent it at Walt Disney World! It was Claire's first visit to Disney, but judging from her reaction, it won't be her last!
Claire barely slept the entire time we were there--she didn't nap at all and would stay up late and wake up bright and early, kicking her legs excitedly, just waiting for the day to begin!
We started our vacation with a visit to the Magic Kingdom. We arrived just in time for the Celebrations Parade. Claire LOVED meeting the characters, especially Donald Duck, who took extra time to say "hello" to her!
Main Street was decorated for Christmas and felt quite festive!
Our first stop (after getting something to eat on Main Street) was Cinderella's Castle for a few pics.
Then, it was off to "It's a Small World" to enjoy Claire's first Disney ride.
Claire liked "Small World" so much, we rode it again!
Then, Claire met Rapunzel and Snow White.
Both were so kind to her!
Then, after riding Winnie the Pooh (twice!) and Small World (again!), we stopped to watch the Electrical Parade.
Claire enjoyed the lights so much that she kept waving her arms and kicking her legs throughout the entire parade!
Since it was getting late, we headed back to our hotel, where Claire went right to sleep. I am sure her dreams were extra-sweet that night!
If only she knew the excitement that awaited her the following day . . .
